Horses eat, but they also eat when unsettled.
ReplyDeleteThe first question of the survey should be:
1. Do you stop and let your horse graze, on trail rides?
If they are worried about something, I have noticed they will pull at hay or grass, so yes I let mine eat while on long rides, maybe stop for an hour, unsaddle, and put out a long line. Catch a few zzz`s! Myself.
She benefits, I feel better, and the whole world looks a damn site better from the back of a rested horse!
