Where have I been? Runnin' around!For the past 6 months I have been running here and running there to prepare for my first BIG (big to me anyway) race... the Marine Corps 17.75K. Finally race day came this past weekend and I had a blast! Not only was the race big fun, but I also had a great time training. I've had the opportunity to see the back country roads of Virginia in a way they are rarely seen, and oh the beauty! Not to mention the hours of blissful solitude and contemplation. Just me and my Weimaraner, Ruby, cruisin' down the road with Lady GaGa in my ears and the wind (hopefully) at my back. But it's not over yet... I'm training for bigger and better. So I'll see ya'll around here and if you see me on the road, give us a wave... I'll be the one with the big smile on my face.
